You can install ProjectCompanion on your own Windows server and use the free version entirely without cost. You get modules for project portfolio management, project management, action management, document sharing and project diary. ProjectCompanion is a business software developed for consultants. It has been specifically developed to support effective and profitable consulting projects. It integrates orders, project portfolio management, management of single projects, administrative processes and management control information. OK, but what do you want me to buy from you?

You are under no obligation to buy anything if you use the free system. If you want, we provide support, hosting, enterprise back-office tools and consulting services such as customizations, implementation and training.

That sounds great, but I have heard that there is no such thing as a free lunch - what is the catch?

Well, this is not exactly a free lunch, but I see your point. What we think will happen is that you find the front-office part of the application very attractive and get used to working with it. When you do that, you will find that there is a lot of extra value in using the Enterprise back-office tools. Further, running a modern computer system requires a lot of skills and resources, so our affordable hosting may be a good path for many companies, even if the application in itself is free.

What results will I get?

ProjectCompanion will provide an infrastructure that you can use to improve control of your project portfolio, improve profitability, on-time delivery and quality in your projects, reduce costs in administrative processes and improve management control of your company. This enables you to implement your strategy and grow your company successfully.

Is it complicated to use?

No. It is very easy to use. We have worked a lot with simplifying the system. In our experience the key challenges are related to establishing processes within the company. If the system is too complicated, it will not be used in most cases. Simplicity is key to get the new processes and systems in operation, thereby influencing how people work. It is only a system in operation that will improve results.

I agree, but this implementation stuff is tricky - why would you be able to help us?
